Hi, I’m Phillip Scott Bowden. This is my personal blog.

I’m a software developer living in Brooklyn, NY. I co-founded Brooklyn Computer Club with my good friend Buzz.

I’m originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, on the hot, humid Gulf Coast. Get a few drinks in me and you’ll hear it in my voice. I love tacos and I have very high standards for Mexican food.

I left college after a few semesters because it just wasn’t for me (I have complicated feelings about that). This was around the same time the iPhone SDK first came out, and with it, my first real paid programming jobs as and independent consultant.

I’m interested in primarily in user interface design and implementation, graphics, programming languages and distributed systems. I’m into a ton of non-computer stuff too, which is important, but likely not the reason you’re reading this.
